Pledge for Our Planet

Our planet faces major conservation challenges from threats like climate change, deforestation, overfishing, and illegal wildlife trade.

With you by our side, we can protect our planet and the future of nature.

Will you join us?

I pledge to ...

Reduce my carbon footprint by decreasing the electricity I use and switching to clean energy options where available.

Improve my daily commute to work or school and reduce my fossil-fuel impact by walking, riding a bike, carpooling, or using public transportation.

Never buy any illegal wildlife products, as I know that demand drives poaching. And urge the US government to continue championing efforts to stop wildlife crime at home and abroad.

Reduce food waste in my life and purchase only what I need knowing that I'll also save money.

Buy products that help protect forests like those with the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) label. Choose seafood that comes from sustainable fishing practices like that with the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) label. And look for products that use sustainable palm oil and have the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) label.

Sign petitions, send messages to and call my elected officials, and be a voice for the planet to help create and support policies that recognize and elevate the importance of nature.

I will make a difference for nature and people! WWF can count on me to help protect our planet.
