Say NO to the Pebble Mine
The Pebble Mine in Alaska is the wrong mine in the wrong place. Alaskans who depend on a healthy Bristol Bay for their livelihoods and way of life have been emphatic on that point. There are two things you can do right now to voice your opposition to the Pebble Mine, and speak up to protect Bristol Bay one last time.
1. Call Senator Lisa Murkowski's office. Call 1-202-730-XXXX or text STOPPEBBLE to 431-44 on your mobile phone, and we'll connect you directly to Sen. Murkowski's office. Once connected, be sure to introduce yourself first, and then let the Senator know that you oppose the Pebble Mine.
2. Send the below email to Sen. Murkowski, Sen. Sullivan, Rep. Young, and Gov. Dunleavy. We've drafted a short template to get you started, but feel free to add your own personal anecdotes and stories on why Bristol Bay must be preserved.
If you take action and have not already registered, you will receive email about important conservation news and how you can help World Wildlife Fund protect the diversity of life on Earth.
