Friends and family,

I'm excited (maybe) to announce I will be running in the 2022 Chicago Marathon! I'd like to prove to myself this is something I can accomplish and if I do it's a great conversation starter. To guarantee I gain entry to run the race I am signing up by donating to a charity. There are hundreds of charities to choose from and I wanted to make sure I picked one that meant something extra to me.

So with that said, my goal is to raise $1750 for the World Wildlife Fund. This is a charity that means a lot to me due to my love for nature, animals and conservation. In my opinion, we can't have enough wildlife on this planet. I would like to strive for a world where David Attenborough is narrating "Planet Earth 35" on Netflix 50 years from now because surely he will live forever. My main point is this: any cause that is taking action to protect our precious planet and wildlife is something I would like to be a part of.
