Let's all make a difference together so we can continue to enjoy the wildlife and wild places around the world!
I am fundraising for World Wildlife Fund by running in the Bank of America Chicago Marathon on October 8, 2023.
Deforestation, climate change, water scarcity, and illegal wildlife trade. These are some of the threats facing our planet today—and no one person or group can tackle them alone.
But if we work together, we can take on anything. That’s why every day, WWF works in unity with many people, partners, and institutions to achieve lasting conservation solutions.
You can be part of those solutions. You can protect the very things that keep us alive: our forests, our oceans, our fresh water, our wildlife, our energy supply, our food supply.
This marathon will be my second one in as many years having completing the NYC Marathon this past November and not being particular happy with my results I was immediately looking for the next challenge. The day of the marathon itself will be a celebration but what goes unnoticed by many is the blood sweat and tears the runners endure just to get to the start line. Joining 40,000 plus runners on October 8th will be a blast and especially running for such a great cause will give even a better meaning when I cross the finish line.
I appreciate and thank everyone who donates!!! I have started my perpetration and training to do the best I can. Recently I have been active in much shorter races such as the NYS park winter 5k series and been setting new personal best. Each mile I travel in the cross of training and during the 26.2 miles I will keep you all in mind. I may be the one running the marathon but you all will be running it with me as well!
Together let’s all make a difference and help support the efforts of the world wildlife fund in conserving and preserving wildlife and wild places throughout the world.
Your donation today will help make it possible to protect the future of nature.
Thank you for giving what you can.
