Save the Fin Whales
There fewer than 100,000 fin whales left.
Whales we killed by by commercial whaling. No one really sees them anymore because there fewer than 100,000. “Their current status is unknown in most areas outside of the North Atlantic.”
Commercial whaling remains a threat still to fin whales. They are hunted for food and other products, like oil. It is illegal to hunt whales. Fin whales that live up to north Atlantic are listed as endangered. Once they get killed the commercial whaling sells it to Japan's market.
Please help the fin whales. The fin whale is very important to the environment. If the fin whales dies off it will change the environment. For example the fin whale eats krill, an animal that's very tiny. And they eat lots of them! If the fin whales die there will be too much krill in the ocean.
