How would you like to save the planet, while at the same time being in the comforts of your own home? It starts with awareness; I challenge you to pay attention to how much trash you throw away in a month. Then consider how much trash other households throw away as well. Ask yourself, does this feel right? Where will this trash end up? If you wish to take action and make changes, here are some links that will help you get started.

♦ Almost 6 billion tonnes of fish and other seafood have been taken from the world’s oceans since 1950.
♦ Today, 90% of the world’s seabirds are estimated to have fragments of plastic in their stomach.
