Help me protect wildlife and wild places!
My name is Giselle and I will be having my bat mitzvah this year. In my community, that means I will start to become an adult, a person with responsibilities to the people around me. Because of that, one of my family’s customs is to do a chesed project, something that gives back to your community or a cause you care about. I really love animals, from big and fluffy to squiggly and slimy, so I wanted to do something to help them. I decided I wanted to raise money for the WWF to support their awesome work helping animals all over the world.
To do that I wanted to take something that I like, challenge myself to get better at it, and use it to help raise money for animals! I want to challenge myself to get better so I am training a couple of times a week to get ready to have a Shoot-a-Thon. I will shoot 3 rounds of 6 shots for a maximum total of 180 points. I’d like to ask you to promise to donate a certain amount (whatever you can is great) for every ten points I get. I will stream myself doing the shoot-a-thon so everyone knows how I did.
I really enjoy archery and I will train really hard to shoot perfectly so I can help save as many animals as I can. Please consider donating to my shoot-a-thon to save the animals.
