Help me protect wildlife and wild places!

I am fundraising for World Wildlife Fund because I want to protect the future of our ecosystem.

Single-use plastics, energy overconsumption, human population growth, and fossil fuel dependence. These are some of the threats facing our planet today—and no one person or group can tackle them alone. But if we work together, we can take on anything.

We can protect the very things that keep us alive: our forests, our oceans, our fresh water, our wildlife, our energy supply, our food supply. 

After having the amazing opportunity to explore different areas of our world, my eyes were opened to just how devastating the effects of our comfortable lives are...and how far they reach. Recently, I had the great fortune to swim with multiple sea turtles in Bonaire and dive with sharks off the coast of Bora Bora. Following these experiences, my husband and I spent hours pulling plastic and other debris out of the oceans in which we were swimming. The future of these maginificent and essential beings (and many others like them) are in danger because of our species. While we cannot all march on Washington, quit our day jobs to rehabilitate sea turtle hatchlings, or move to California, London, or New York to work with the largest environmental nonprofits, we can support those who are able to do so.
