Hi Friends! Every year for my birthday, I pick an endangered animal and fund raise for the World Wildlife Fund. This year I picked one of my favorite animals, the Pygmy three-toed sloth. They live in the tropical rain forests of Central America and are on the critically endangered list. A male sloth lives in 1 tree for his whole life. A female sloth gives up her tree to her baby and only then moves to a new tree. They can't control their body temperature so they need a warm, humid environment. This is why their habitat needs to be saved.
My goal for this year is $500! It's a big goal but I'm hoping with your help that I can do it! If we reach that mark, I will have raised more than $1,500 for WWF since I started fundraising with them when I was 4 years old. I really love animals and it's so sad that people have put them and their habitats in danger. We should do everything we can to help them now!
Thanks for your help!
Love, Syd
