Help us protect the axolotl and their natural habitat

We are four fourth grade students in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan looking to protect and save the axolotl. We are researching the axolotl for our upcoming exhibition presentation and are learning so much. There are no other species on the planet like the amazing axolotl, and we need your help to save them from extinction.
The axolotl is more than a cute amphibian, it is important to science. Did you know that axolotl have the ability to regenerate parts of their bodies multiple times including limbs, organs and even parts of their brain? Scientists can learn a lot more about them, but not if they are extinct.
Axolotl live in waterways and wetlands of Lake Xochimilco in Mexico. Climate change, pollution and taking axolotl from their homes hurt their natural habitat. Right now there are over one million axolotl as pets and more in labs than left in the wild. There are less than 500 wild axolotl left and every one of them need our help.
We have chosen the World Wildlife organization because every dollar we raise will help the conservation of the wild axolotl and where they live. Will you make a donation today to support Team Amazing Axolotl and our work to save the species?
Thank you from Team Amazing Axolotl,
Amelia, Charlotte, Julia and Zoe
