When you love something, you want to protect it. If you know me, then you know I really love the ocean and often mention God's remarkable creativity and his gift of nature in our every day lives. Last summer I joined the World Wildlife Foundation "Water Bears" Team for their Panda Paddle event to support WWF's work to protect our waterways and nature. I have rejoined this summer and will be paddling in the virtual Panda Paddle in early August.
I plan to re-join my team and paddlers from all across the world as we paddle separately, but together, as part of World Wildlife Fund's Panda Paddle Virtual Event. My plan is to paddle 5K (3.1 miles) on a stand-up paddle board with teammates, paddling near Sullivans Island. Last summer, several friends joined me on this adventure, and this time around we'll be looking for a less windy day!
