I am fundraising to protect the animals that we are hurting by deforestation. All of those animals are having to find a new way to live because we are forgetting about them. We are loosing 50200 square miles of forests per year, causing 8 percent of the species in the forest to go extinct and causing 22 percent to become indangered. But I am not only doing this for the animals, I am also doing this for the 1.7 billion people who depend on the forests. 80 percent of all of the terestrial biodiversity are in the forest. By saving the forests, we are saving earth. Forests and oceans are the two largest defences against global warming. They provide more than half of our population with vital resources such as food. By giving just 5 dollars, you can help change the future of Earth.
Deforestation, climate change, water scarcity, and illegal wildlife trade. These are some of the threats facing our planet today—and no one person or group can tackle them alone. But if we work together, we can take on anything.
We can protect the very things that keep us alive: our forests, our oceans, our fresh water, our wildlife, our energy supply, our food supply.
