My Species Step Challenge for World Wildlife Fund!
Hey! This year I am doing the species step challenge for WWF again! No not that WWF… World Wildlife Fund. Climate change, deforestation, and ocean plastic pollution are just some of the major issues wildlife has been facing for a long time, that humans are now being affected by too. I know with the state of the country we’re in and the state of the world as a whole environmental conservation has taken a major back seat. We need to be real about this though. You and I might not be around to see what it’s going to be like, but our kids and their kids will be. Climate change is real and it is happening. I can appreciate that many people do not understand what climate change actually means for life on earth. But it’s time we start educating ourselves and stop pretending that it doesn’t affect every single one of us. I can’t even begin to describe the horrible effects our plastic pollution and our man made climate change has already had on so many ecosystems and so many species of wildlife. Even if you don’t donate to my fundraiser for WWF, still try to learn, spread awareness, and begin to reduce your own carbon footprint in any way you can. Small steps by many add up to much bigger things. This isn’t a worldwide issue we can just throw money at. We all need to do our part because we all participated in making the mess. If you have read to this point, you’re awesome, thank you. Much love to you and nature!
