Becka's Species Step Challenge Fundraising Page
What I'm doing:
I'm committing to taking 10k steps a day to help fight deforestation, climate change, water scarcity, and illegal wildlife trade by raising money for the WWF.
Why I'm doing it:
Being outdoors heals me and brings me strength. The more time I spend in nature, the more I appreciate what a sacred trust we have violated in our failure to protect this planet from our toxic influence. Diversity dwindles and disappears, the climate changes rapidly from human influence, and many still deny our impact. We need to do whatever we can to protect and preserve the natural world remaining to us, while we fight for systemic change. Additionally, on a purely personal level, this commitment and accountability will help me stay active, and continue to build and maintain the habits that are transforming my life, everybody wins!
Please give what you can to support the WWF, and in doing so, help me become a better, stronger, healthier person.
Thank you, Becka
